Good Doggie!
Data Dog (DDOG) jumps vertically, joining other former dogs
Good boy…
It has been a thing lately. The Cloud/SaaS/Remote/Security staff that was all the rage back in 2020 is now joining the stock market party and of late, leading it as former leaders like Semiconductors wane and the market seeks out new speculative playgrounds.
First it was Zoom. Then it was the Cloud ETF. Then it was Snowflake. I sold the first two and still hold the latter. Also, a few others that had not started yet, including DDOG, a great company with an over-valuation whose chart I could not stop looking at.
So, yeah, it’s a chart thing.
Anyway, Doggie is pulling the vertical jump routine now as the Cloud ETF dings new highs and many components and related areas get a move on. Got to love a late-stage speculative market.
